ABOUT ME
My name is Kate Scott, Director and owner of Langdale Wills.
As a qualified solicitor with over 17 years’ experience in private practice in the area of Commercial Property, I moved from London to Berkshire in 2004 with my family. I now live in Caversham with my husband, two children and my cockapoo, Josie – who tends to wait patiently at my feet while I work from my home office.
With my legal background, taking the leap to running my own Will writing business was a logical next step, and means I can offer a unique and personal service. When I visit you, it will be me you meet and not an agent from a large company where the Will is written in a back office. I enjoy meeting people in my own community (and further afield), talking them through what can be a daunting process and hopefully making it less so. I am approachable and friendly yet professional, and I try to explain things in plain English - or even a diagram! We can take the time to ensure you make the right decisions for you.
I am qualified through the New Leaf (Will Writers Federation) Ltd and am fully insured for professional indemnity up to £2 million by their insurers. I am also a member of the Society of Will Writers.
